Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 11, 2026
Hines Custom Fence & Iron ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website (Hines Custom Fence & Iron's official site), how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways: what you give us directly, and what your browser sends automatically.
- Information you provide: When you fill out our Contact Us form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, city, the service you're asking about, and any message you enter.
- Automatic/technical data: Like most websites, our hosting and, if you consent to analytics cookies (see Section 3), Google Analytics automatically collect technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you interact with the site.
We do not use any advertising pixels (e.g. Meta/Facebook Pixel), session-recording tools, or chat-widget scripts on this website today.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to:
- Respond to your quote requests and other inquiries.
- Communicate with you about your project, including by phone, email, or text message.
- Understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it (only if you accept analytics cookies).
- Comply with legal obligations.
Current status of the Contact Us form: the Contact Us page uses two embedded forms hosted by our CRM, GoHighLevel/LeadConnector (see Section 4). Submissions go directly to that CRM so our team can review and respond to them -- they are not stored on our own servers.
3. Cookies & Analytics
We use two kinds of cookies on this site:
- Strictly necessary cookies: a single cookie that remembers a sidebar/menu display preference on your device. This is functional only, does not track you across sites, and is not affected by the choice below.
- Analytics cookies (optional): if you accept, we load Google Analytics 4, which uses cookies to help us understand aggregate traffic patterns (e.g. which pages are popular, how visitors found the site). We do not use analytics data to build advertising profiles or sell it to advertisers.
- Contact/quote form cookies (optional): the embedded contact and quote request forms on our Contact Us page are hosted by GoHighLevel/LeadConnector (see Section 4) and set a cookie of their own when loaded. We do not display these forms until you accept cookies -- the same choice that controls analytics above.
When you first visit, a banner asks you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. Nothing beyond the strictly necessary cookie loads until you accept. You can change your choice at any time using the link in the site footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser. You can also install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to opt out of Google Analytics on any site.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We work with the following third parties, each of which may process data on our behalf:
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) -- website usage analytics, loaded only if you accept analytics cookies (Section 3). See Google's Privacy Policy.
- GoHighLevel/LeadConnector -- our customer relationship management (CRM) platform. The Contact Us page embeds two forms hosted directly by this provider (see Section 2); inquiries you submit through them are stored in this CRM so we can manage and respond to them.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Text & Email Communications
If you submit the Contact Us form or otherwise give us your phone number or email address, we may contact you by phone, text message (SMS), or email to respond to your inquiry or discuss your project. Message and data rates may apply to SMS. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out of further texts, or contact us using the details in Section 9 to opt out of any communication channel at any time.
We do not currently send promotional/marketing email or text campaigns. If that changes in the future, we will only enroll you in marketing communications with your separate, affirmative opt-in consent (for example, a checkbox you select when submitting a form), consistent with the CAN-SPAM Act and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Every marketing message will include a clear way to unsubscribe or opt out, and we will honor opt-out requests promptly.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 9.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including when we connect the Contact Us form to a live CRM or add new tracking tools. We will update the "Last Updated" date above when we do. Material changes affecting how analytics or marketing communications work will also be reflected in the cookie consent banner and Section 5 above.
